This course is designed to explain all the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 to help in the implementation and auditing of an environmental management system with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of EMS against ISO 14001, in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, as applicable.
The course discusses key elements of ISO 14001:2015 like evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts, compliance obligations, operational planning and control or emergency preparedness and response. Specific requirements for environmental management system, environmental policy, environmental objectives and planning to achieve them, context of the organization, internal audits, management review, evaluation of compliance, documented
information, actions to address risks and opportunities – all these are discussed in the lessons of this course.

This course is design to explain all the requirements of ISO 50001:2018 to help in the implementation and auditing of an Energy Management System with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of EnMS against ISO50001, in compliance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification process
The course discusses key elements of ISO 50001 like Energy efficiency policy, identification and review of significant energy aspects and related factors, energy consumption and its related factors, energy consumption forecast, Treatment of consumption accident, metering plan, Awareness, training and competence for energy management, legal obligations and other requirements, and Completeness of Management Reviews – all these are discussed in the lessons of this course.

This course is devoted to the designers of steel structures. It aims to provide the designers with extensive knowledge concerning the design of the different elements of steel structures. The design procedure adopted in this course is based on the latest version of the standard British Code for the design of steel structures (BS 5950). The procedure followed in this course depends on providing applied solved examples to explain – in detail – the aide behind the code instructions and how to apply it.

This course is a study of the current practices and policies pertaining to the development, implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems (EMS) in an organization. This involves developing and implementing control measures for environmental hazards, given prevailing scientific, social, economic and regulatory influences.
This course details the planning, executing and managing major risk with the understanding of organized risk assessment and management, multidisciplinary approach to evaluating scientific data, the techniques involved in analyzing risks, general principles and terminologies used in the field, and limitations of current risk assessment methodologies. Gain an overview of the theory of risk analysis by exploring hazards and risks-perceived or actual-in relation to emergency preparedness, cost benefit analysis, stakeholder influence and risk communication.

This course is designed to introduces the methodology of environmental impact assessment (EIA) as a vital tool for sound environmental management and decision-making in accordance with the Environmental Protection Law No. 30 of 2002 and its Executive Regulation No. 4 of 2005.
The course discusses an overview of the concepts, methods, issues and various forms and stages of the EIA process. It examines the development of EIA in State of Qatar. Different levels and systems of EIA are examined to highlight the diversity of approach and impact of the EIA process.

This course gives an understanding of the principal legal obligations associated with the management of controlled and special waste, together with practical tools for the classification of waste type.
